BIOGOR - smart ferilizer

BIOGOR KM is a new, promising microbiological preparation for crop production
Posted 12 August 2019
The agro-industrial complex is increasing its achievements in the field of obtaining high yields. To do this, all the achievements of past years and modern developments in the field of tillage, the latest organo-mineral fertilizers are used, new approaches to crop rotation are developed, and new non-traditional crops are introduced.

Analysis of technical information suggests that the introduction of new green fertilizers based on biological products is an urgent problem of our time. We often see the irrational use of fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, we observe soil erosion, flushing into the water basin of the fertile soil layer, fertilizer wash out, and contamination of agricultural products that reach the consumer’s table. Ultimately, all these factors are affecting human life and health. In the market of agricultural production, there is an increase in the need for environmentally friendly products. New biologically active drugs are being introduced. This is an important factor in the production of agricultural products, improving their quality, an indicator of the transition from traditionally chemical methods and means of struggle for a higher yield to a more efficient, progressive way of land use. The use of the Biogor KM series microbiological fertilizer manufactured by STC BIO LLC is an example of the use of a new preparation in the crop sector.
Microbiological fertilizer Biogor of the KM series is a community of beneficial microorganisms with probiotic, cellulolytic and phosphate-mobilizing properties. The participation of new bioactive components of this microbiological preparation in the processes of assimilation of nitrogen from the air, the intensification of the processes of growth and development of roots, the vegetative part of plants, and also the improvement of the quality of seeds (legumes) of agricultural plants are noted. The experiments carried out in various soil and climatic conditions of the central area and the south of Russia (Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories) in 2018 showed that the use of the Biogor-Zh preparation of the KM series had a positive and effective influence on the growth and development of plants, providing the higher yield. In all farms that used Biogor-Zh KM series for plant treatment, there was an increase in resistance to adverse environmental factors (stressors) characteristic for the Stavropol and Krasnodar Territories - insufficient moisture and high average daily temperature. In the cultivated areas of the Belgorod region, the percentage of sprouted grain did not exceed 5.6%, while in the control they observed up to 68%.

This trend is observed in experiments with different croppings. Phenological observations conducted at Raduga LLC (Krasnodar Territory) showed that in experimental crops treated with the preparation, soy plants had earlier blooming than in untreated crops. In experimental crops, more productive plant growth is noted (additional tillering, new leaf rosettes, a more developed root system), there is no pronounced inhibition of plants by high temperature and lack of moisture. At the final stages in the experimental sunflower crops, a powerful, wide, well-formed basket is observed. In the control crops, not treated with the STC BIO preparation, the basket is small, not sufficiently developed, at the initial stage of formation. The samples of winter wheat of the Yucca variety grown in the Stavropol Territory, village of Kevsala, Agrokevsalinskoe LLC, were also evaluated. Winter wheat was treated with the Biogor-Zh preparation of the KM series at the “flag-leaf” stage (paniculation stage). Visually, in the experimental (treated) areas, the formed spike looks fuller. It differs in size from the control (untreated) spike: the number of grains in the treated spike exceeds the number of grains in the spike of the control section by 15-25%. Harvesting in 2018 showed that in all experimental crops the yield was higher than in the control: Agrogard LLC, Krasnodar Territory, village Zhuravskaya. Soybean yield in the experimental plot exceeds the control (untreated) by 44.8%; Visloe LLC, Yakovlevsky District, Belgorod Region, village Visloe. The barley yield (according to the data of the combine harvester, in two replicates) in the experimental plots amounted to 51 kg/ha, in the control - 27.8 kg/ha (by 83%); Kubris LLC, Krasnodar Territory, village Poltavskaya, observations of the growth and development of rice plants showed that plants in the experiment were 15-20% ahead of their indicators at the vegetation stage compared to the control and last year; Chernoerkovskaya LLC, Krasnodar Territory, village Chernoerkovskaya. Together with the agronomist of the farm, observations were made on the vegetation of rice crops, which showed that the vegetation in the experimental plots was 7-10 days earlier than in the control. Good development of the aboveground vegetative mass and root system was noted. In experimental crops compared to the control, diseases and pests characteristic of rice plants were not noticed, the panicle is full, there are no empty grains, and an earlier stage of development is also observed - wax ripeness.
Based on the experiments, according to phenological observations and harvesting results, as well as laboratory analysis, we can draw the following conclusions about the influence of the microbiological preparation Biogor-Zh of the KM series produced by STC BIO LLC on the quantity and quality of the crop: in all experiments, the acceleration of the ripening process of the crop was recorded, which was expressed in acceleration of vegetation processes. This is especially important for regions with unstable climate. Resistance to unfavorable environmental factors. According to experts, the climate is changing towards higher temperatures. Therefore, plants need to survive this stress factor, which will entail a lack of moisture. Abnormal rains cause excessive waterlogging, which also negatively affects the quality and quantity of the harvest. The results of the experiments have shown that the microbiological preparation Biogor-Zh of the KM series makes it possible to multiply and maintain the crop without losing its quality, successfully smoothing the negative climatic factors. Productivity in experimental crops exceeds control indicators by 50-80%. This is recorded in the credentials for the pilot plots. Thus, we can note the positive influence of the Biogor-Zh preparation of the KM series on the development of the vegetative mass of plants, acceleration of the development process, stabilization and suppression of the effects of pathogenic microflora and factors causing plant diseases, and the production of a high and high-quality crop. The organized production of microbiological products at the STC BIO LLC enables the production of Biogor biopreparations of the KM series, which ensure efficient crop production on hundreds of thousands of hectares of sown area.
